Software Requirements Engineer

Maastricht

The foundation of software development

In a nutshell

For our customer we are looking for a seasoned Software Requirements Engineer who specializes in translating the customer requirements to detailed document that defines the functional and non-functional requirements of the software from a developer’s perspective.

Client requirements are often abstract and formulated from a business perspective. It’s your job to convert these into concrete, measurable, and testable requirements that serve as the starting point of the software development process.

The setting

You will be working in an international setting and will be collaborating with colleagues from all over the world. The software department consists of around 100 people and is divided into project teams. The project you will be working on is for a world-renowned automotive brand and will run for several years.

That’s basically the gist of it.

Isn’t there a lot more to tell about this position you ask?
There certainly is! But who wants to read long and formal job descriptions where everything is presented as perfectly as possible?

And what happens when the project is over then?
Excellent question! 😊
We work with our client on a secondment basis with the option of a permanent contract. There is a good chance that you will be taken on by our client before the project ends.
