Role Overview

The Software Engineer participates in design and implementation of Software that supports the customer´s vision of transforming the way food is processed, in collaboration with the customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in design, implementation and testing of software modules and software features.
  • Analyze requirements and write design specifications for software modules and software features.
  • Contribute to team collaboration and build team spirit.
  • This role may also include some customer-site work related to new product releases, support and training of other employees. 

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Good understanding of database operations.
  • Good design and coding skills with the ability to pick up new languages, tools and design patterns.
  • Familiar with Agile software development frameworks.
  • Good groundings in source control management, i.e. Git.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Result-driven with good analytical skills.
 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar, a Master’s degree in relevant fields is a plus or comparable work. experience and knowledge.
  • Experience of software development.
  • Strong English skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers.
  • Experience with and comfort working in multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage.
  • The job may require some travelling.
